I followed your journey as if I was a nestled on your shoulder throughout. You write so beautifully Adam. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and bringing Israel to your readers.

Thanks Adam. I thoroughly enjoyed following your trip, even the painful parts. Are the pictures in this last post AI-generated? They are lovely.

I decided to make Aliyah a year and half ago. The Toronto and Canada I loved just doesn't exist anymore. All the things we took for granted...being able to practice and celebrate our Judaism freely, having a warm loving community, being among like minded people who care about each other more than they care about themselves.

These are a few things that you capture in your commentaries. Your love of Israel and Judaism pours out in your writing and gives us hope.

Come back soon, and keep fighting the good fight.

Hi Adam,

I just wanted to say that I very much enjoyed reading your recent series of Catch posts about your trip to Israel.

The way you tied different colours to each day of your trip, and the meaning behind each shade was a powerful and original way to describe your experiences. It is amazing how many apparent contradictions can be held simultaneous by a single country at one time.

And you've inspired me to want to visit Zichron Yaakov the next time I am in Israel.

It sounds like you found the trip very fulfilling and educational, and I hope you have had the chance to rest and spend some time with your family back in Toronto (and take a break from writing)!
