I see too much Jew against Jew in our community to the point where some are ostracized for holding legitimate political views - and I'm not talking about fringe political ideologies or anti-Zionism. It's time for us all to join together to fight the scourge of antisemitism no matter who we voted for.
Adam, as always, it's a pleasure to read your essays. This one caught my attention, especially by way of your example - Hannah Arendt whose "banality of evil" thesis had quite an influence on social psychologists like Stanley Milgram and Phil Zimbardo. As a counterpoint, however, I offer this Commentary essay by Norman Podhoretz on her "Perversity of Brilliance". I read this essay several months ago and still keep the tab open in Chrome.
